  • Annapurna was the first 8,000-meter peak climbed & the first to be climbed without oxygen.

Physical fitness

Trekking to Annapurna base camp is moderately difficult. Having said that, One should not underestimate any treks of Nepal. Initially, it looks easy but later, it could be challenging. Just don't take it hard on yourself, gradual moves could be very helpful. Annapurna Base Camp trek takes 10 days of continuous hiking with a lot of uphill & downhill stairs involved. The best way to prepare for this trek is to go for jogging, cycling, swimming, walking on a regular basis for 2 months or if you are not up to that, just prepare yourself mentally.

Best time to go

The best time to trek to Annapurna base camp is either in the Spring(March-May) Or Autumn Season(Sept-December). These two seasons are the major trekking seasons of Nepal & they happen to be busiest as well. Amid these seasons weather is particularly dry & clear making it exciting with promising views of mountains.

  • Day 1 : Welcome to Kathmandu!

    We are delighted to provide an airport pickup service as an innovative customer offering, so our chauffeur will assist you with baggage & escort you to your Hotel. He will also help you with the check-in. Later in the evening, we will be hosting a welcome dinner

    Highlights:  Music, Cultural dance, the lively Thamel, one-stop shop for backpackers, clubs & pubs, an array of restaurants.

  • Day 2 : Kathmandu Sightseeing and Pre-Trip Meeting

  • Day 3 : Fly to Pokhara Trek to Dhampus

    Flight Kathmandu to Pokhara:  25 minutes, Trek to Dhampus: 3 hours

    Accommodation: Basic tea house

    Elevation: 827m at Pokhara & 1700m at Dhampus

    Topography:  Stone staircase, Uphill climb

  • Day 4 : Trek to Landrunk

  • Day 7 : Rest day Himalaya Hotel

    Today is a rest day for acclimatization

  • Day 8 : Trek to Machhapuchhre Base Camp

    Difficulty: Moderate/strenuous

    Accommodation: Basic tea house

    Elevation: 3700m

    Topography:  dry, rocky trails,  riverbanks

    Highlights: Hinku Cave, grassy moraines, Machhapuchhre base camp, 360 views of fishtail towering above

  • Day 9 : Trek to Annapurna Base Camp

    Difficulty: Moderate/strenuous

    Accommodation: Basic tea house

    Elevation: 4,130m

    Topography:  dry, rocky trails,  riverbanks, short inclines, snowy paths

    Highlights: Freezing water streams, sunrise views while approaching base camp, views-Machapuchare, Annapurna south, Annapurna I, Hiuchuli, and more.

     

  • Day 10 : Explore the Annapurna Sanctuary

    Today is a rest day for acclimatization. In the meantime enjoy the best perspectives of Annapurna. Take a time to mesmerize this nature's offering

  • Day 11 : Trek to Himalaya Hotel

    On this day we retrace our steps back to Himalaya Hotel & stay overnight at Himalaya

  • Day 12 : Trek to Chomrong

    After spending overnight at Himalaya we descend down all the way to chomrong dragging ourselves form exhausting stone steps.

  • Day 13 : Trek to Ghandruk

    Walking hours: 4 hours

    Difficulty: Moderate

    Accommodation: Basic tea house

    Elevation: 2050 m

    Topography:  wider flat trails, forested lands, zigzag trails: uphill & downhills

  • Day 14 : Fly from Pokhara to Kathmandu
