Expect to cover around (15 km) 5-6 hours of trekking each day, which is achievable but it's a tough call for immatures.

If you are one of those people can do a 45-minute jog or spinning class, then you can easily make it to Gokyo. No Extra training required. We’ve seen people from all walks of life-old, young, overweight & underweight completing the trek.

Best Time To Go

The Gokyo Lake Trek can be achieved through the year, but to get most out from Gokyo Lake Trek, the best time of the year is September-December (autumn) & March-May (spring). The reason behind these two seasons is-The weather. During these months, the weather is clear, sunny & pleasant for you to enjoy the Himalayan vistas with least effort. You don’t need rain gears on your backpack since rainfall is not expected on these seasons. The month of May is most rewarding because the rhododendron forest will blossom making it so delightful to watch.
